Yuntong "Hazel" Dai is a film editor graduated from American Film Institute. She also has a background in Interactive Media Arts and psychology. She has been dedicated to exploring the intersection of psychology and social-political issues specific to China with narrative, moving images, interactive installation and mechanical manufacturing. Her works cover narrative films, music videos, experimental films, and commercials.
The short film TASTE OF TEA she edited in 2024 was in Offical Selections for Moscow International Film Festival and FIRST international film festival. Her AFI thesis film SONG OF SILENCE (2025) was selected in Cannes Short Film Corner.
